Victorian Ash is the trade name for the two tallest hardwood species in the world. Victorian Ash usually has a straight grain but may also produce fiddleback markings and have visible gum veins. The heartwood ranges from pale pink to yellowish brown, the sapwood is often indistinguishable from the heartwood.
